Multiple Sclerosis
Living with Multiple Sclerosis
Someone with MS can still be a professional athlete
MS can create a variety of problems, but these problems may not be present at all times and may not all be present at the same time. Therefore many people with MS have long periods where they feel healthy and fit, thus making it possible to continue with the training and competition that makes a professional athlete. What they do have to do is find ways to accommodate the times when their MS is active and thus discover alternatives to pursuing their sport full out 100% of the time.
